Petit Plaisir was developed as part of a collaborative university project in which our team set out to translate the charm and elegance of a French bakery into a contemporary digital experience. The goal was to create an app that feels warm, intuitive and visually inviting, while offering the convenience users expect from modern food services. From the first sketches to the final prototype, the project focused on balancing atmosphere with usability — bringing craftsmanship and technology into one coherent system.

Our process began with concept development, user journeys and detailed wireframes that mapped out every interaction. We explored how customers browse pastries, customize orders, manage delivery or pickup settings and follow real-time updates. Drawing inspiration from artisanal baking, we defined a visual language that felt light, refined and appetizing. This foundation guided the interface design, from typography and color choices to iconography, product cards and micro-interactions.

The final prototype offers a seamless and thoughtful user experience: personalized accounts, rich product pages, smart filters, and integrations such as Apple Wallet payments and Apple Watch notifications. Through coordinated teamwork, iterative testing and a shared design vision, Petit Plaisir grew into a fully functional UI/UX concept that connects French bakery culture with modern digital expectations — and showcases our collaborative approach to building user-centered design solutions.
